As a Practice Management Consulting company our business has a lot of facets that I do not feel that I have been able to get across in a 45 second commercial, so I am going to do 2 things:
1. Try to get better at 45 second commercials and
2. Post a blog for each of the features that our business offers to help you better understand our big picture.
I hope this will help you, because I know approaching a doctor to get us a referral can be both uncomfortable and intimidating. I will try to lay each service out in a manner that is easy to understand and tell you why they should use us when you get the ultimate response "we have someone that does our billing." Well we are better and I will try and tell you how.
Here is a list of what we do in a nutshell and topics that I will cover in more detail in later postings:
1. CMS RAC Risk Mitigation (third party auditing): Hard to summarize, I'll save this for the first post since it is where
our focus has been shifting because of time sensitivity.
2. Electronic Medical Claims Filing (Getting more money, faster from insurance companies for the doctor.)
3. Practice Management Consulting (Setting up new practices and process analysis and improvement of current
practices)
4. Cashflow Analysis (Where does their money come from, how do they get it, credit cards, invoices. etc)
5. Patient Retention Plans (Setting up programs like sending out reminder cards, get well soon cards etc.)
6. Text Appointment Reminder System (A system that sends out text reminders of appointments based on a preset
calendar so that staff is not spending big chunks of their day calling patients to remind them of appointments.)
7. Profit Recovery (Collections, patient invoicing, collecting the money from previously rejected insurance claims)
This list is primarily focused on doctors. There is some overlap into small business billing that I will try to explain as it comes up.
